Frequently Asked Questions

  • How much does using a travel agent cost?

With me? Nothing! Some agents might charge you a service fee, but not me. My commission is not paid by you, but rather the vendors I work with. This way, you could have your dream vacation without the additional costs.

  • Why should I book with you instead of booking my own travel?

By using a travel agent, you get not only your time back, but peace of mind. Travel agents are able to do all of the research and booking on your behalf, saving you hours of scrolling online or being on the phone with hotels. Also, if something were to go wrong on your trip, I would handle everything. When going through someone like Expedia, if they come out cheaper, I may find a way to bring your costs down by finding additional discounts not available to the public.

  • Can I make payments on my trip?

Absolutely! While the trip does need to be paid in full typically 30 days before travel, depending on the resort, you might be able to make those partial payments after the initial resort deposit, if required. As the travel agent, I will have you sign off on every payment before it is made. I will NEVER charge your card without you knowing exactly what the amount is and what it is for.

  • What is the independent affiliate information on the bottom of the screen?

While Drift with the Tides is my business and I can run it how I see fit, I am working with a host agency. My host agency is OutsideAgents (A.S.A.P Cruises Inc.,) and they help the both of us by offering support and resources. You can still trust me with all of your information and know every transaction and detail of your trip is well protected.
